A high conductivity beryllium copper alloy used in applications requiring a combination of high thermal conductivity with moderate strength. Conductivity is 45-60% that of pure copper. Non-magnetic and provides excellent resistance to thermal fatigue. Available in plate, strip, rod and wire.
UNS BS ISO
C17510 CW110C CuNi2Be
ALLOY 10
A high conductivity beryllium copper alloy that has very similar mechanical properties to Alloy 3. However this alloy has an additional alloying element of cobalt rather than nickel giving it a slightly lower thermal conductivity and melting temperature. Generally available in plate, strip, rod and wire.
UNS BS EN ISO
C17500 C112 CW104C CuCo2Be
ALLOY 25
A high performance copper beryllium alloy used in applications requiring strength, fatigue resistance, non-magnetic properties, conductivity, and corrosion resistance. Magnetic properties are unaffected by machining and surface abrasion. Cold working before precipitation hardening improves strength & hardness (above Alloy 165).
UNS EN ISO AMS
C17200 CW101C CuBe2 4533,4534, 4535
ALLOY 33-25
A free machining high performance copper beryllium alloy with 0.2% (min) lead addition. Good substitute for Alloy 25 where enhanced machinability is a requirement. Used in applications requiring strength, fatigue resistance, non-magnetic properties, conductivity, and corrosion resistance. Generally available in rod and wire.
UNS EN ISO AMS
C17300 CW102C CuBe2Pb 4533, 4534, 4535
ALLOY 165
A moderate to high strength copper-beryllium alloy with a lower beryllium content than Alloy 25 providing good corrosion resistance in marine environments. Good hardness and fair conductivity. Cold working before precipitation hardening improves strength and hardness. Available in plate, strip, rod and wire.
